  Sharing the Faith Through Crafts

My church located in Miami lakes, FL, Northwest Dade Seventh Day Adventist church is having an evangelist crusade with Bill Waters. It will be six weeks long on Fridays, Sabbaths and Sundays; the covering topic will be prophecies. See the flyer below.

 

During the presentations, parents have the opportunity to allow their children to be in a separate room. I have the privilege to be a part of the church members who will be involved in preparing an hour long presentation for the children while the Holy Spirit moves upon their parents without distractions. The program for the children includes music, bible story, and a craft section. Of course I am so happy to hear them say crafts.  So over on pinterest I have found some really fun crafts to create. I have been testing out how to make some of the crafts and here are a few that I have done.

I plan on making a tree and then use the basket as well as the fruit of the spirit as an activity for the children. I plan to have the children make their own baskets and then pick the fruits from the tree; there will be "rotten" fruits too. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
